ShowroomOps

Shopify AI chat for furniture stores, wired into your real catalog

Most Shopify chat apps bolt a generic bot onto a furniture catalog it doesn't understand — variants, custom options, compare-at pricing, and 12-week lead times included.

ShowroomOps implements its AI sales concierge directly on your Shopify store: products, variants, collections, pricing, and inventory synced live, product cards rendered in chat, and conversations matched to Shopify orders so you can see assisted revenue in dollars.

The real problem

Where Shopify chat apps fall short for furniture

Furniture on Shopify is an edge case app developers didn't design for: deep variant trees, consignment and floor-model inventory, freight delivery, and AOVs 20× the platform norm.

Variants and options confuse generic bots

A sofa with 40 fabric options, three configurations, and two leg finishes breaks app-store chat logic. Shoppers get the wrong price, the wrong image, or 'I couldn't find that product.'

Sale pricing gets misquoted

Compare-at prices, markdowns, and floor-model deals are where furniture stores win the ticket. A bot that can't show the strikethrough — or quotes the wrong number — burns trust at the decisive moment.

Theme installs that break things

Furniture stores run heavily customized themes. App-store widgets inject scripts that fight your PDP layout, slow your LCP, and occasionally take the add-to-cart button down with them.

No line from chat to orders

Shopify tells you what sold; chat apps tell you how many chats happened. Nothing joins them — so you can't tell whether chat is producing revenue or just producing chats.

What we install

A Shopify-native implementation

Built against Shopify's APIs and your theme, by people who run a furniture store on Shopify themselves.

Live catalog and variant sync

Products, variants, options, collections, pricing, compare-at, and inventory levels stay current automatically. The concierge quotes what Shopify says right now, not last week's export.

Product cards with true pricing

In-chat cards show the variant image, title, current price with sale strikethrough where it applies, and availability — linking straight to the PDP with the right variant selected.

Theme-safe, performance-safe install

A lightweight embed that respects your theme and your Core Web Vitals. We test on your actual theme before launch — we've debugged enough Shopify furniture themes to be careful with yours.

Order matching inside Shopify

Conversations are joined to Shopify orders (and POS where present), so reporting shows matched, chat-assisted revenue — plus product-card clicks and showroom leads — in your dashboard.

First implementation

Built and proven inside a real furniture store

Our first implementation ran on a Shopify furniture store with thousands of SKUs, deep variant trees, and a busy showroom — our own.

ShowroomOps was built inside our own high-end furniture store — one large destination showroom, a deep new-and-consignment catalog, and a sales floor that closes most of the revenue. Live catalog, real policies, real customers. We share the store's identity and full detail privately, on the teardown call.

outsold in one, at pace

2026 store revenue is pacing past the previous five years of sales combined.
June revenue, year over year
4.05×
$628K in June 2026, with July projected near $765K.
chat-assisted revenue in 14 days
$27.5K
Orders matched to concierge conversations after auto-answer went live — chat volume roughly doubled, and matched revenue ran at a ~$60K/month pace.

How we count: We report the store's numbers as the store's numbers and assisted revenue as matched orders — never claimed lift from any single tool. The growth came from the whole operating stack working together: buying, marketing, catalog, concierge, and measurement. We'd rather under-claim and show you the methodology.

The 90-day launch guarantee

If we do not launch your concierge, ingest your catalog and policies, train it on your top questions, and generate the agreed qualified sales conversations or showroom/design leads within 90 days, we work free until we do, up to two additional months.

This is an implementation guarantee, not a revenue guarantee — nobody can honestly guarantee revenue in a seasonal, omnichannel business. What we can guarantee is that the system gets built, launched, and producing the agreed conversations and leads, or you stop paying the retainer while we finish the job.

The launch guarantee applies to Custom, done-for-you engagements. The Self-Setup System is a one-time purchase your team implements with the guide.

Questions

Frequently asked

Does it work with Shopify POS?

Yes — POS and order matching is a core module of the Custom build. For furniture stores where most sales close in person, joining online conversations to POS transactions is the only honest way to measure what chat contributes. Web-only attribution systematically undercounts showroom businesses.

Will it slow down our store or break our theme?

The embed is built to be theme-safe and light. We install on a preview theme first, test against your PDP, cart, and collection templates, and check performance before anything goes live. If your store has been burned by app bloat before, that caution is exactly why we do the install ourselves.

How does it handle our variants and custom options?

The sync ingests your full variant structure — fabrics, configurations, finishes — plus metafields where you keep dimensions and spec data. When a shopper asks for 'the 3-seat version in performance linen,' the concierge finds that variant, shows its image and price, and links to the PDP with it selected.

Can it add products to the cart?

Product cards link shoppers to the PDP with the right variant selected, and add-to-cart from chat is supported where the theme allows it cleanly. For furniture AOVs, the higher-value action is often routing to the showroom or a designer — the concierge does both, and we track which path each conversation takes.

We're on Shopify Plus with multiple stores — supported?

Yes. Multi-store and multi-brand rollouts are exactly what the Custom option is built for, including shared learning across catalogs where that makes sense and separate brand voices where it doesn't.

See it against your actual Shopify catalog

The teardown includes a walkthrough of your store — variants, pricing, PDP flow, chat gaps — and exactly how the concierge would install on your theme without breaking what works.

The teardown is free and delivered live on a 30-minute call by the operator who built the system. We onboard a small number of retailers at a time — each system is built from real catalog and policy data.
