From working furniture-store operators
Our store is on pace to sell more this year than in the five years before it — combined
ShowroomOps installs the retail operating stack behind that growth in a small number of high-end furniture retailers: inventory and buying systems, marketing systems, custom order integrations, an AI sales concierge, and measurement joined to the POS.

The problem
Furniture is not normal ecommerce
Playbooks built for $40 checkouts fail at furniture's ticket size, catalog depth, and showroom economics. The website's job isn't to replace your floor — it's to start better conversations for it.
The ticket is high and the anxiety is higher
A $4,000 sectional isn't an impulse buy. Fit, scale, fabric wear, delivery logistics, and 'what if it's wrong' stall more sales than price ever does.
The catalog is deep and the data is messy
Thousands of SKUs, custom options, consignment pieces, floor models, 12-week lead times. No filter sidebar was ever going to carry that.
The showroom is where sales close
For most independent furniture retailers, the overwhelming majority of revenue still closes on the floor. A website that ignores that fights the business instead of feeding it.
The valuable questions come after hours
High-intent shoppers browse at 9pm with real questions — dimensions, availability, delivery windows. Silence until morning sends them to whoever answers first.
What we install
The full retail operating stack
The growth didn't come from one tool. It came from running the store on systems — what to buy, how to market it, how the website sells it, and how every dollar gets measured. We install that stack, then operate it with you.
Custom order integrations
Special orders, custom upholstery programs, vendor catalogs, and made-to-order workflows wired into your ecommerce stack — so the website can sell what your store can actually order, with honest lead times.
Inventory grading & ordering systems
Systems that grade what to reorder and what to buy next — velocity and margin by category, price-band analysis against your real sales, vendor selection, and container/PO planning built from your own data.
Marketing systems
Product feeds, paid campaign structure, creative pipelines, and email/SMS flows built on the same catalog data as the concierge — measured against in-store reality, not platform-reported numbers alone.
Catalog & product-data enrichment
Dimensions, materials, imagery, lead times, and SEO-grade copy structured at scale. The unglamorous data work that makes discovery, ads, and the concierge all sharper at once.
Conversion optimization
PDP, collection, and funnel work driven by what real conversations reveal — delivery clarity, financing, showroom paths — instead of generic CRO checklists.
Measurement & attribution
Assisted revenue, matched orders, showroom and design leads joined across web, POS, email, phone, and an in-store foot-traffic sensor — the reporting layer every other system plugs into.
The self-setup system ships the concierge, the foot-traffic sensor, and the measurement and CRO layers with a guide to build them yourself. On a Custom engagement we scope and operate as much of the stack as you want — inventory, ordering, marketing, and integrations included.
The flagship module
The AI sales concierge — your stack, talking to customers
The most visible piece of the stack is the concierge: it searches your live catalog, answers delivery and financing questions precisely, shows product cards with real prices and availability, and invites serious shoppers to come sit on the exact piece. It works because it sits on top of the catalog, policy, and measurement layers underneath it.
Catalog-wide product search
Shoppers describe what they need in plain language — size, fabric, budget, room — and the concierge searches your live catalog, not a script. Product search first, support deflection second.
Product cards that sell
Image, title, price with sale strikethrough, availability, and a clear next step. Cards render first, then a short recommendation recap — the same order a good salesperson works in.
Showroom routing
Every conversation carries a dual path: buy online, or come sit on the exact piece. The concierge knows what's on your floor and invites shoppers in — it never competes with your showroom.
Human handoff that routes right
Design questions go to designers. Order issues go to support. Big-ticket buyers can reach the sales team or owner. Never a generic 'agent will be with you shortly.'

Built and proven inside a real furniture store
ShowroomOps was built inside our own high-end furniture store — one large destination showroom, a deep new-and-consignment catalog, and a sales floor that closes most of the revenue. Live catalog, real policies, real customers. We share the store's identity and full detail privately, on the teardown call.
- outsold in one, at pace
- 5 yrs
- 2026 store revenue is pacing past the previous five years of sales combined.
- June revenue, year over year
- 4.05×
- $628K in June 2026, with July projected near $765K.
- chat-assisted revenue in 14 days
- $27.5K
- Orders matched to concierge conversations after auto-answer went live — chat volume roughly doubled, and matched revenue ran at a ~$60K/month pace.
How we count: We report the store's numbers as the store's numbers and assisted revenue as matched orders — never claimed lift from any single tool. The growth came from the whole operating stack working together: buying, marketing, catalog, concierge, and measurement. We'd rather under-claim and show you the methodology.

Serious implementations, priced like one
Every tier is done-for-you: we build from your data, launch, and manage. One missed $5,000 sectional conversation a week is $260K/year walking out of an unstaffed website — the retainer is priced against that math. Full pricing and upside options here.

The same system we run in our own store, handed to your team to implement in logical order with our complete self-setup guide.
The 90-day launch guarantee
“If we do not launch your concierge, ingest your catalog and policies, train it on your top questions, and generate the agreed qualified sales conversations or showroom/design leads within 90 days, we work free until we do, up to two additional months.”
This is an implementation guarantee, not a revenue guarantee — nobody can honestly guarantee revenue in a seasonal, omnichannel business. What we can guarantee is that the system gets built, launched, and producing the agreed conversations and leads, or you stop paying the retainer while we finish the job.
The launch guarantee applies to Custom, done-for-you engagements. The Self-Setup System is a one-time purchase your team implements with the guide.
Fit
Who this is for — and who it isn't
A strong fit
- Owner-led or family-led furniture retailer doing roughly $8M–$150M/year
- Real showroom(s) with a sales and/or design team you want fed, not replaced
- Deep catalog with high-AOV products, custom options, and real delivery logistics
- Someone on your team who owns web/ecommerce and wants a serious partner
- Willing to share catalog, policy, and order data so answers can be true
Not a fit
- Looking for a rented $99/month chat widget, not a real system to own or run
- Dropship-only or marketplace-only, with no showroom in the model
- Expecting AI to fix broken fundamentals — bad photography, wrong pricing, no traffic
- Wanting guaranteed revenue numbers before any data exists
Questions
Frequently asked
What exactly is ShowroomOps?
The operating stack behind a furniture retailer's selling systems, led by an AI sales concierge. We ingest your catalog and policies, train the concierge on your real questions, install it, and wire reporting to orders and POS — extending into the broader stack: custom order integrations, inventory grading and ordering, marketing systems, and catalog enrichment. You can buy it two ways: run the system yourself with our complete self-setup guide (from $25K), or have us build and operate the whole thing for you (Custom). Either way it's the real system with the foot-traffic sensor included — not a $99 SaaS widget you rent.
How is this different from the chat apps in the Shopify app store?
App-store chat tools are support widgets you configure yourself; most can't search your catalog, show accurate product cards, or route to your showroom. ShowroomOps is product-search-first, trained on your actual data, installed and managed by operators who run a furniture store — with reporting on assisted revenue instead of chat counts.
Will the AI make up answers about our products or policies?
It is built not to. Answers come only from your ingested catalog and policy data. When the concierge doesn't know something, it says so and routes the conversation to the right person on your team. In furniture, one fabricated dimension or delivery date costs more than a hundred honest handoffs.
How long does implementation take?
Typically 30–90 days from kickoff to a live concierge, depending on catalog size and data quality. The 90-day guarantee exists because we're confident in that window: launch, catalog and policy ingestion, training on your top questions, and the agreed conversation/lead volume — or we work free until it's done, up to two additional months.
What results did the first implementation actually see?
Inside our own store: 2026 revenue is pacing past the previous five years combined, June ran 4.05× year over year at $628K, customer chat volume roughly doubled after the concierge's auto-answer went live, and chat-assisted revenue matched to real orders hit $27.5K in the first 14 days. We report matched, assisted revenue, not claimed lift — and we share the store's identity and dashboards privately on the teardown call.
Do you take equity or performance-only deals?
Our standard structure is cash plus retainer, with optional tracked upside — like a small percentage of chat-assisted revenue above an agreed threshold. Total-store revenue shares are usually too noisy in a seasonal, omnichannel business to be honest for either side. Strategic equity or warrants come up only for larger roll-ups or exclusive partnerships.
See what your website is leaving on the table
We'll go through your site the way a demanding furniture shopper would — search, product pages, delivery questions, showroom path — and show you exactly where high-ticket conversations are being lost. Private, specific, no obligation.
The teardown is free and delivered live on a 30-minute call by the operator who built the system. We onboard a small number of retailers at a time — each system is built from real catalog and policy data.
